Earlier this month, Eric Boser joined Kelly Cordes of WJON on air to talk harvest season, community banking, farm life, and more! The time they spent together covered a lot, including a recap of our 115th anniversary celebration this summer, the recent volunteering and community give-backs our team spent time on, and how we’ve been serving the ag world for generations. Some of the top takeaways from their conversation include:

  • The vast majority of the Farmers & Merchants State Bank team is immersed in farming, either through their upbringing or currently as farm families themselves. This helps us understand our ag and rural customers, and help them find financial solutions that truly fit their needs.
  • Eric specializes in ag lending, which includes anything from lines of credit and operating loans to equipment financing, construction loans, and land purchases. We keep a close eye on rates to help customers make smart purchasing decisions. We also have some unique program offerings that allows financing to be more successful for our customers.
  • Outside of the bank, Farmers & Merchants State Bank shows our support to local FFA groups financially, we attend local county fairs, and share our farm and agriculture knowledge through schools and community events.
  • We are able to meet our farming customers wherever they need us to be, whether that be their kitchen table or the back of the truck tailgate in the field. We’re here to make banking easy for our customers.

Take a listen to the full segment to hear about all of our various ag-related products and programs, and hear about Kelly and Eric’s farm backgrounds too.
